So what is a micro-emulsion cleaner?
A micro-emulsion cleaner is a unique mixture of water, organic solvents and surfactants.How is a micro-emulsion cleaner different from an emulsion cleaner?
A micro-emulsion generally has a particle size of less than 1 micron and an emulsion generally has a particle size of greater than 10 microns. An emulsion forms when two immiscible liquids, usually water and oil, are mechanically agitated so that one liquid forms droplets in the other liquid.On the other hand, a micro-emulsion forms spontaneously and the solvent portion of the micro-emulsion is not intermixed with the water portion, but rather it is an external phase making the solvent and water a continuous phase, thus enhancing the cleaning.
