General Description
ENVIROTEK 550 is a high solids, surfactant based, oil soluble additive for spotting fluids. It effectively increases the soaking rate of spotting oil and at the same time causes dehydration of the wall cake. As the cake dehydrates, it becomes noncohesive and allows penetration of the spotting fluid and wetting of the drill pipe. The force necessary to free the pipe is therefore greatly reduced.Application
One gallon of ENVIROTEK 550 per barrel of spotting fluid for weighted and unweighted drilling fluid.Physical Properties
