BWT-L777 is an advanced organic boiler water treatment to control pH corrosion, scale and sludge. The neutralized organic acids of BWT-L777 remove nominal oxygen presence and inhibit the boiler from corrosion forming an organic iron compound. The correct pH is maintained by a unique blend of low molecular weight compounds which avoid pitting corrosion. Use of these compounds avoid "under deposit" corrosion which is caused by excess alkalinity in conventional treatment.
BWT-L777's blend of advanced polymers stops the formation of scale and maintains clean surfaces in the boiler. These conditions are maintained with a low total solids level, avoiding heavy sludges, making blow down of the boiler more efficient.
Initial Dosage: BWT-L777 is dosed at 1 quart per metric ton boiler water. Allow water to be conditioned for 24 hours then carry out a p-alkalinity test. Adjust dosage as needed to obtain a p-alkalinity of 100-200 ppm. Determine the chloride content at the same time. If it is too high, give the boiler a top to bottom blow down.
Daily Dosage: Adjust the dosage of BWT -777 as needed. A minimum of ½ quart/day should be dosed to maintain correct treatment levels in conjunction with regular top and bottom blow down.
BWT-L777 should be continuously dosed into the feed system through a dosing pump and tank unit. BWT-L777 can be added directly to the feed water through the dosing pump. Available in UN approved 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums and bulk quantities.
