SPEC HIB 218 is a heterocyclic amine blend that is soluble in water and insoluble in oil. SPEC HIB 218 is a highly active inhibitor specially designed for use in pickling fluids, whether in fresh or brine waters. SPEC HIB 218 is extremely soluble in high brines with little or no tendency to “fall out” of solution.

When applied to metal surfaces, even after draining of fluid, a protective film remains behind to provide protection from rust and corrosion. Available in UN approved 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums and bulk quantities.
