PIPE COAT 9978 is a non-toxic, water based low temperature acrylic copolymer pipe coating for very low VOC applications.PIPE COAT 9978 offers outstanding “alkyd-like” properties including fast dry, very good water resistance, and good block resistance. PIPE COAT 9978 exhibits excellent adhesion to a variety of substrates including previously painted glossy alkyds, cold rolled steel, aluminum, and galvanized metals.

PIPE COAT 9978 dries to a tenacious, clear film designed to last up to two years on stored metals, such as drill pipe, tubular goods, valves, structures, sheet steel, etc.

Appearance upon drying is a glossy, clear coating. Available in 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums and bulk quantities.
