PHOSTREAT is a fast acting, acid type compound that neutralizes alkaline residue. It not only rapidly removes rust and stops rust action, but it will change rust (iron oxide) into iron phosphate, an inert, hard, usually gray surface that provides a perfect base for most paints.

PHOSTREAT is effective for rust and stain removing, as a neutralizing rinse for ships' sides, machinery spaces, decks, ship equipment, bulkheads, bilges, oil field rigs, platforms and equipment. Available in 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums and bulk quantities.
