RP-309 is an outstanding water displacing, non-staining rust preventative that will rapidly separate water displaced from metal surfaces after machining operations or after alkali cleaning. The ultra thin, highly protective films applied to unpainted or painted surfaces are effective in the protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals from atmospheric corrosion even under conditions of high humidity, both fresh or salt mists.

Various blends of RP-309 meet or exceed the following MIL-SPECS: MIL-C-81309. Available in UN approved 5 gallon pails and 55 gallon drums.
