SSLSS is an economical, environmentally friendly liquid soil stabilizer that is used to stabilize and strengthen the subsurface areas of the road bed. When the road bed is compacted, SSLSS functions to fill the void areas between the soil particles with ultra fine, colloidal solids. These ultra fine particles adhere the larger particles during compaction to greatly increase the density of the soil.

This density will help to lower the plasticity index, reduce or eliminate the ability of water to pass through the road surface thus lowering the effect of freeze / thaw cycles. This greatly strengthens the underlying base for the road helping to eliminate settling, cracking, potholes, wash-boarding, and crumbling edges.
