ABS SEALER is a non-toxic, high acrylic solids, multi-purpose, ready-to-use, penetrating and bridging, encapsulant for all forms of friable asbestos. Apply with a low pressure airless sprayer for best results. ABS SEALER can be used for the encapsulation of ACM (Asbestos Containing Material) in place, so that they can remain in use without contributing to air-borne asbestos.

ABS SEALER securely adheres to and binds friable ACM. When encapsulating ACM to remain in service, ABS SEALER can be applied in tow steps; by applying a penetrating coat to lock the fibers deep within the ACM and then by top coating as a thin film to the exposed (air stream) surfaces.

ABS SEALER forms a clear, non-abrasive, flexible film for safe and effective handling of ACM. ABS SEALER has a temperature stability of 600 F. Coverage is dependent upon density and type of ACM being coated. ABS SEALER is effective on sealing fiber glass, rock fibers, and other types of mineral sealers and insulation to inhibit airborne fiber release.

Do not dilute when used as a sealer. May be diluted with 2 parts water when used as a penetrant. Final top coat must be sprayed as provided. ABS SEALER must be applied with a low pressure airless sprayer. Coverage is dependent on penetration depth and absorption capacity of the surface being sealed. Clean up personnel and equipment with soap and water.

ABS SEALER is available in 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums and bulk quantities.

Observe warning label on containers. Normal precautions for industrial chemicals apply.
