ABS-HT is a non-toxic, multi-purpose, ready-to-use, low pressure airless spray applied wetting and penetrating encapsulant for all forms of friable asbestos. ABS-HT can be used for the encapsulation of ACM (Asbestos Containing Material) so that they can remain in use without contributing to air-borne asbestos. ABS-HT securely adheres to and binds friable ACM. When encapsulating ACM to remain in service, ABS-HT need only be applied as a thin film to the exposed (air stream) surfaces. ABS-HT can be used as a removal encapsulant when applied as a saturant.

ABS-HT can then be misted over the work area as a lock down encapsulant to seal any remaining asbestos fibers to the substrate. When dry, ABS-HT forms a clear, non-abrasive, flexible film for safe and effective handling of ACM. ABS-HT has a temperature stability of 600 F. Coverage is dependent upon density and type of ACM being coated.

ABS-HT must be applied with a low pressure airless sprayer.

ABS-HT is available in 5 gallon pail, 55 gallon drums and bulk quantities.
