ABS-HD is a non-toxic, multi-purpose, ready-to-use, airless spray applied wetting and penetrating encapsulant for all forms of high density friable asbestos that may be contained in structural fireproofing. It allows for safe and efficient containment of the ACM (Asbestos Containing Material) for the removal and handling of ACM.
ABS-HD securely adheres to and binds friable ACM to surrounding material. The unique surfactant property quickly penetrates and encapsulates asbestos fibers. When the product is dry, a clear, non-abrasive, flexible film forms for safe and effective handling of ACM. ABS-HD is an effective lock down encapsulant when misted over the work area to bind any remaining asbestos fibers to the substrate. Available in UN approved 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums and bulk quantities.
