HistoricalEstablished in 1981, JMN Specialties, Inc. has been providing quality products, service, and application technology for specialty chemicals throughout the Gulf South of the United States. Through distribution, JMN Specialties, Inc. provides products for customers nationally and internationally.JMN Specialties, Inc. opened its Belle Chasse, Louisiana facility in November, 1988 and began to emphasize biodegradable and nontoxic alternatives for traditional cleaning and process chemical applications. JMN Specialties, Inc. has experienced steady growth in each successive year. In 1996 JMN opened an additional manufacturing facility in Westwego, Louisiana. In 2002, JMN completed construction of a major expansion of its blending facility in Westwego adding additionalblending and bulk storage, and a 10,000 square foot raw material storage / blending warehouse. These expansions were designed to facilitate rapid processing of tank truck orders saving our customers time and money. In 2007 we completed a new corporate office and a additional 30,000 square foot customer pick up and loading dock.
FocusJMN Specialties, Inc., while specializing in biodegradable cleaners, also custom formulates products for corrosion control and/or scale inhibition in pipelines, custom water treating products, oil and gas production stimulation chemicals, high performance rust protection products for metal surfaces, specialty coatings, dust control and soil stabilization products, barge and tank cleaners / degreasers / degassers, custom solvent blends, fuel additives and alternative fuel products, customer specific toll blends, industrial and institutional products, and many other types of job specific chemical products.JMN Specialties, Inc. also manufactures chemical intermediaries that are used as feed stock for further production by some of our customers. JMN Specialties, Inc. will custom formulate products to meet specific customer specifications for price or concentration. JMN Specialties, Inc. will work with you to provide packaging suitable for use in your facility or for further resale to your customer. JMN has additional sales representation in different areas of the United States, Canada, and in South America for specific product lines.QualityJMN Specialties, Inc., in 1998, to assure our customers of our high quality commitment, and to be in compliance with international standards, began operating under ISO-9002 quality guidelines. JMN was third party registered by BVQI in December, 1999. Continuing our company policy for the highest quality standards, JMN Specialties, Inc. in June 2001, completed registration to ISO 9001. JMN Specialties, Inc. completed upgrading and certification to the new ISO 9001:2000 standard with BVQI in May, 2002. A copy of our ISO 9001 quality manual is available upon request.FacilitiesThe primary manufacturing facility for JMN Specialties, Inc. is EPA and USDA registered and has a current production capacity of up to 75,000 gallons per 8 hour day, depending upon the type of products being produced.
